It's the best-selling album in America this year, the film has won two Emmy Awards and it's just been added to the Guinness Book Of Records for having the most successful songs from a soundtrack of all time! Yes, it's HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL and it's being shown for the first time in the UK this week!

The stars of the film were all in London last week to watch the European premiere of the film and we've got the pictures of them right here!

The Film

While on a family New Year's vacation, shy brainiac Gabriella meets high-school basketball star Troy. During a karaoke contest at the teen party, they discover their love for singing...and an interest in each other. But will they be able to break out of their "expected" cliques and discover new interests and talents within themselves? Find out...in High School Musical! Starring Ashley Tisdale from Disney Channel's Original TV Series "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody" and Zac Efron from WB's "Summerland."

The film will be shown on The Disney Channel on: Friday 22nd September at 6pm and 9.30pm Sunday 24th September at 11am Saturday 30th September at 4pm Wednesday 25th October at 3.30pm

The singalong version of the film will be shown on: Friday 6th October at 6pm and 9.30pm Saturday 7th October at 11am Friday 27th October at 11am and 8pm

The dancealong version will be shown on: Monday 23rd October at 11am and 8pm

The film will also be shown on BBC terrestrial TV this Christmas.

Soundtrack features all-new music performed by the cast in the movie plus a bonus track by one of today's hottest teen R&B music groups - B5! Among the standout tracks are "Get'cha Head in the Game," the fab tribute to 1970s piano-pop "What I've Been Looking For"; and the old-school show-tuney "Stick to the Status Quo."
